Stacking the Shelves #43

This feature is hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Hi guys! I took last week off because I had only gotten one book and that was a finished copy of a book I absolutely adored. But this week I got a huge box of books in the mail. All of them were purchases I made on Book Outlet's online store. And I think I'm in love with this store. I was able to get 13 books for under a $100. That is not possible on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. So YIPEEEEE!

So my book purchases are the only new things I added to my shelf this week. Go check out what purchases I made.

Stacking the Shelves #42

This feature is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

I'm baaaaack!

Yes, I know I haven't done a Stacking the Shelves post in WEEKS, but May was a very slow book month for me. This week, I got access to several different titles. Harper uploaded a ton more titles to Edelweiss this week, including my two most anticipated fall 2014 reads. So excited about these books. I also got approved for another book from Edelweiss. I got approved for 5 books from NetGalley, so YAY me.

Stacking the Shelves #41

This feature is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

This was the week of pre-orders!!!! I got 2 books in the mail that I had pre-ordered in March. So excited they came the day after they officially came out. I'm not usually that lucky. I picked up one Edelweiss book and one Netgalley book. Also, I was incredibly surprised to receive a package from St. Martin's Press. I didn't request anything, but they must have me on an author specific list or something as I got an Adult Thriller book from an author I love.

Let's check out the books.

Stacking the Shelves #38

This feature is hosted by Tynga's Reviews

Hi everyone, hope this was a great week for you. My week started off great and continued to be great. I got two books in the mail. One was for an ARC tour and one was my prize from Octavia's Twitter giveaway. I also received some swag & was approved for a few NetGalley titles. I also received an e-book for an upcoming blog tour that I am participating in. I did not purchase anything this week as I have 4 pre-orders coming at some point this month and I'm already significantly behind in my reading.

However, I did go to my favorite bookstore on Monday. I haven't been there since before I started blogging so I was excited to see all the YA titles that they have there. I even pushed some books on people who were standing & looking at the books in the YA section. I am really not shy at all.Especially when it comes to telling people about the book that they are currently holding and it just happens to be one I loved.

Now, the books.

Stacking the Shelves #32

This feature is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

It was a very slow week on the blog this week as I spent a lot of time playing with my new kitten Latte. So I didn't get a whole lot of reading done unfortunately. Hoping that the reading slump will end soon. Maybe this week's large stack of books will help with that. We can only hope. I am definitely behind schedule which really upsets me as it is not in my Type A personality to be behind on anything.

So I decided to do something new this week. I filmed my first vlog in which I talked about all the books that I bought myself this week. It was part of my February book buy. So this video talks about 8 of the books that I bought this week. A couple of hours after I filmed this, the last two books arrived in my mailbox. I really didn't feel like re-filming the video so the books that aren't in the video will have a pic of the cover next to it.

The Impossible Knife Of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson
